Spatial, intensity, time characteristics of voluntary imagination of young people studying and working in a given situations of frustration of their needs

The article presents the results of a study aimed at studying the spatial, intensity and temporal characteristics of voluntary imagination in verbal given situations of frustration of the biological and social needs of working and studying men and women. The spatial characteristic of an arbitrary imagination is considered as the involvement of a particular sphere of life in the content of the imagination of the Respondent, actualized under the influence of frustration needs of the subject. The intensity characteristic of imagination is interpreted as the degree of distinctness, detail, subjective significance of the content of imagination. The time characteristic of imagination reflects the speed of actualization of the content of imagination. According to the results of the study, the social status and gender of young people have different effects on the spatial and intensity characteristics of arbitrary imagination, depending on the nature of frustrated needs. When frustrating biological needs on the specifics of the spatial and intensity characteristics of the imagination of respondents affect their social status and gender. When frustrating the social needs of respondents, their gender and social status affect the specifics of each of the characteristics of an arbitrary imagination.
