Experimental study of the relationship between individual and personal characteristics and handwriting as a complex psychomotor skill

In modern psychological science and practice, great importance is given to polyscientific research, which makes it possible to discover and uncover patterns and principles of the formation of psychic phenomena of various types. In line with this trend, a series of experiments is unfolding, aimed at revealing the relationship between psychomotor and individual-personal properties with common and particular properties of handwriting. The presented article contains a brief review of the theoretical base of the research, including handwriting diagnostics, psychophysiology, personality psychology, psychology of general abilities and psychodiagnostics; and also developed a theoretical model that determined the content and direction of the experimental part of the work. The relationship between individual and personal characteristics and handwriting is planned to be substantiated in a series of experiments. The article contains the results of the first psychomotor probes that determine the further directions of scientific research.
