The problem of comparing the subjects of sociocultural anthropology and culturology

The subject of sociocultural anthropology now supports the study of cultural differences and similarities, which are discussed in terms of the achievement of people's own identity. In turn, the subject of culturology are as individual types (forms) of culture and so specific human features, system-wide properties, characteristics of culture as a holistic phenomenon. In Russia culturology is becoming an integrative area of knowledge and systematic reflection on culture.
