The development of imagination in students of pedagogical professions

The problem of development of imagination in the system of training of teaching staff is relevant, as in the framework of the mastered profession the student must master the General and professional competence, designated by the document Federal state educational standard of secondary vocational education. Many competencies, which should master the student, mastering the teaching profession, based on the mental processes of man. Therefore, special attention should be paid not only to the development of competencies, but also to the systematic development of mental processes of future teachers. The article presents methods and describes the results of diagnostics of the level of development of imagination of students of secondary vocational education. Exercises are presented to develop the imagination of students studying pedagogical professions at the Institute of secondary vocational education, on the job, on the example of additional tasks aimed at repeating the material.
