The life of a modern person, and even more so a student, cannot be imagined without electronic devices and digital media, so for modern science, one of the important tasks is a comprehensive study of how ICT affects human cognitive processes in General and thinking in particular. Scientists call this new type of thinking clip-based. The features of clip thinking were studied by contrasting it with conceptual thinking using test methods and experimental procedures. Knowledge of the features of students ' cognitive processes will help to build an effective education system that meets the way of thinking of today's schoolchildren and students.
