Historical memory in the structure of ethno-cultural education: specifics and potential in the implementation of national state policy and management of a multi-ethnic society

The article deals with the problem of developing ethno-cultural education and using the resource of historical memory for the consolidation of Russian society. The authors draw attention to the fact that the complex multiethnic nature of Russian society sets the state the task of developing ethno-cultural education, which can ensure the continuity of reproduction of historical traditions of long-term cohabitation and cooperation of various ethnic cultures in a single cultural and political space of Russia, contributing to the harmonization of interethnic relations and creating conditions for sustainable development of Russian society.
