Integration of sciences as a basis for achieving unity of research methods

the article poses a two-fold task - to substantiate the necessity of integrating of sciences and the emergence of new research methods, on the one hand, and to show the methodological role of integrating sciences in the cognition of the object of social practice, on the other. The tasks are solved by analyzing scientific discourses on this topic. It is highlighted that the scale of changes in society and the need for their study have always dictated the objective need for constant discourses, accompanied by the convergence of sciences. It is noted that the methodological content of interdisciplinarity and integration of sciences objectively depends on the object of knowledge and the tasks set. The regularity of the integration process and the operation of the paradigm of convergence of sciences in the article is traced on the example of the social work science. The importance of the integration of humanitarian, social and natural science knowledge in the creation of the theoretical and methodological foundations of science serving the practice of social work has been substantiated.
