Concept neo-empiricism in contemporary philosophy and cognitive science

Concept neo-empiricism becomes a more and more influential theory nowadays. In the article we show that despite the fact that classical empiricism and neo-empiricism have some similarities, old and new empiricisms, nonetheless, differ in a number of ways. After that we highlight the main theses of neo-empiricism. In the last part of the article, we examine the question of compatibility of neo-empiricism and the theory of domain specificity and conclude that they are incompatible.
