The role of university and urban culture in joint education of staff

The article considers urban and university culture as mutually directed and mutually influencing phenomena. The facets of the historical interaction between the city and the university are revealed, the specifics of their mutual influence are described. It is emphasized that the formation of a holistic cultural environment based on university and urban culture can have a significant impact on students: form them as literate and humanitarian-oriented citizens with free thinking and high intellectual potential, develop their social skills, develop their ability to perceive cultural and national differences, to educate students as citizens, ready to carry out their general cultural and professional functions in their future activities.
