Interaction between students from cities and rural areas as a type of intercultural communication

The article deals with the problem of differences in the social situation of city and rural students’ entering a new educational environment of the university. The role of factors influencing the process of adaptation to studies at the university is determined, a number of criteria for distinguishing the social response of urban and rural students are identified.
