The problem of formation of democracy in Russian philosophy of the early 20th century

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of the formation of democracy in the domestic philosophy of the early 20th century. Particular emphasis in the process of research is made on the study of approaches to the semantic content of the concept of "democracy". The main conditions for the formation of democracy are also determined. More attention in the article is paid to the analysis of the positions of denying the need for democratic reforms. In addition, the distinctive features of the assessment of the spiritual side of the development of democracy are considered.
