Institutionalization of society and signsymbolic systems

The article reveals that the symbol, sign and language, as the most important components of the sign-symbolic system, are factors of institutionalization, contribute to social integration and support of social order in society, as well as the interpretation and implementation of social practices regarding the norms, standards, customs of a certain social institute. The symbol is based on a living contemplation of the actions of the entity and is a kind of reflection. It is constantly in interaction with a person in various spheres of social life and turns out to be a generalized consciousness of mankind in creative and cognitive activity. Sign-symbolic systems expand social reality, and also act as its new dimension, acting as a powerful means of interpreting the phenomena of society and understanding human life.
