The study of the characteristics of intra-family relationships caused by the consistency of the role expectations and claims of spouses

This article is devoted to the problems of intra-family relations caused by the coincidence of the spouses' ideas about family values. The article analyzes the role expectations of spouses of both sexes in a number of areas of family life: intimate and personal, personal identification with a spouse, household, parental and educational, socially active, emotional and psychotherapeutic, the sphere of external attractiveness.. The role claims of partners are also investigated, reflecting the degree of their internal readiness to perform intra-family roles in the areas under study. A summary table has been prepared reflecting the degree of consistency of the spouses' views on family roles and family values, and their influence on intra-family relations has been determined. It was found that the majority of female respondents have a high level of expectations in the household, parental and educational spheres of family life and in matters of social activity and external attractiveness. Along with this, the majority of male respondents have a low level of expectations in the emotional and psychotherapeutic sphere of family life, and a high level of expectations is manifested in male respondents in the household, parental and educational spheres of life and issues of external attractiveness. The greatest differences in the degree of consistency of the respondents' family values in marriage were revealed on the emotional-psychotherapeutic scale and the scale of external attractiveness.
