On the features of the development of the creative potential of the personality of junior schoolchildren

The article presents the results of a study of the characteristics of the creative potential of the personality of younger schoolchildren. The results obtained allow us to say that this problem is considered very relevant in modern psychology, and every year the interest in it increases significantly. The development of creative potential, including the development of thinking, imagination and interest in creative activity, is an important condition for successful learning in high school, so it is at the initial level of education at school that attention should be paid to solving the problem of developing the creative potential of younger students. Primary school age is sensitive for the formation of learning, the development of sustainable cognitive needs and interests, productive methods and skills of educational work, "the ability to learn"; disclosure of individual characteristics and abilities and many other qualities. The results can be used in the practice of school psychologists, teachers, and anyone interested in issues of pedagogy and the psychology of creativity.
