THE INFLUENCE OF THE IDEA OF SUPERHUMANITY ON GLOBAL HISTORICAL PROCESSES

The relevance of this paper is due to the fact that philosophical knowledge throughout human history has influenced historical processes, particularly global ones. The aim of the paper is to analyse how the idea of superman has influenced global historical processes. This goal mediates the implementation of the following tasks: to reveal the content of the idea of "superman"; to identify similar philosophical concepts of the past; to analyse what eugenics is and what historical events it has led to; to list the strengths and weaknesses of the concept of transhumanism. Hypothesis of the study: the idea of Friedrich Nietzsche's "superman" influenced the emergence of the following concepts: eugenics and transhumanism. The material basis of the research was formed by the works of the following authors: F. Nietzsche, Plato, A. Augustine, J.J. Rousseau, M. Heidegger, V.S. Soloviev, Y.V. Hen, E. Black, A. Spektrowski and others.
