The article examines the features of the manifestation of the symptom of emotional burnout in various representatives of the legal profession: prosecutors, lawyers, legal consultants, and employees of the judicial system. The professional activities of representatives of the legal profession are characterized by increased responsibility for the lives and freedom of other people, a high level of psychological overload, maintaining a significant amount of official documentation, and the need to make decisions on which the lives of other people depend. Prolonged exposure to such conditions of professional activity can lead to various personal deformations, in particular to emotional burnout syndrome. Despite the general similarity of the main phases and symptoms, there are features of the manifestation of this symptom both within one profession and in all professions of the socionomic type.
