Ding Weixing

Guo Shuzhen, born on 1 June 1927 in Tianjin, is a soprano singer and vocal teacher. She is currently Professor of Vocal Opera at the Central Conservatory of Music. She is Director of the Vocal Music Teaching and Research Department and supervises master's students. She is a member of the Academy's Academic Committee and the Academic Degrees Committee, a member of the Review Committee and Head of the Academy's Expert Panel. Also a member of the Academic Committee and the Academic Degree Award Committee. She is a member of the Titles Review Committee of the Academy. She has also acted as a judge in many major vocal competitions at home and abroad.
