The article examines factors associated with the role of the family in the formation of personal identity, taking into account the influence of changing social, cultural and technological conditions on this process. The influence of parental education, models of family relationships and cultural traditions on the formation of self-identification, value orientations and psychological well-being of the individual is considered. Identifying adaptive strategies that help families cope with the challenges of modern society. As a result of the analysis, it is concluded that the family remains a significant basis in the formation of identity, but in the context of modern society it can transform and take on new forms. The article also discusses practical recommendations for families and community institutions to support healthy personal development in the face of change.
