CHANGES IN CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDENTS' PERSONAL IDENTITY AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF SOCIAL COMMUNICATION IN A DISTANT FORM

Podzhidaev Alexey Alexandrovich  (Postgraduate Student in Psychology, AI. Herzen State Pedagogical University)

the modern world is enriched with digital means of interaction; without them it is impossible to imagine our reality. Starting from online communication to artificial intelligence, however, such an abundance of technologies must be carefully studied, namely their impact on humans, which cannot remain without a trace. The study should be structured around a person's self-image within the limitations of face-to-face communication. The article examines the conditions for changing the characteristics of students' personal identity in the absence of “live” social interaction. A review of domestic and foreign studies devoted to the problems of limiting social interaction in conditions of self-isolation is presented, which allows us to assert the interest in this problem and its relevance. Purpose of the study: to study the dynamics of the characteristics of a university student’s personal identity in the context of the formation of self-image in conditions of forced self-isolation As part of the study of the transformation of personality identification characteristics, the Kuhn-McPartland “Who Am I” test is used. The study sample was formed on the basis of the Russian State Pedagogical University named after A. I. Herzen and St. Petersburg State University. The study involved 214 first-year students aged 18 to 27 years. Indicators have been identified that have significant differences in changes in the identification characteristics of students within the framework of forced social isolation. To evaluate the results obtained, the Kruskal-Wallis test was used. Statistical calculations were performed using universal tabular data processing Microsoft Excel XP and the statistical analysis package SPSS for Windows.
