In the context of globalization, which includes the world community, the problem of youth has become the main topic of philosophical thinking. Youth are a major part of the social structure of society. It acts as an active, dynamically developing part of society. In post-industrial society, young people began to occupy a special place in the industrial and sociocultural environment. At the same time, they must acquire universal human values, become educated, moral and culturally developed. In the modern period, the study of youth as an active, dynamic, mobile group of society has become relevant. Determining the place and role of modern youth, studying their socialization in today's reality of society is a pressing issue of modern social philosophy. The article examines the features of the formation of the social potential of young people, the factors and conditions for its implementation, as well as the reasons for changes in the qualitative characteristics of representatives of the younger generation.
