The study addresses the topical issue of integrating social sciences and humanities into the system of higher medical education. Based on an analysis of the opinions of medical students from the 1st to 6th year, the work explores the differences in the perception of the importance of these disciplines among junior and senior years. The results show that senior students are more inclined to support humanities subjects, while junior years prefer to focus more on basic medical sciences. The study emphasizes the need for a balanced approach to curricula, which would contribute to a harmonious combination of professional and humanitarian knowledge.
