This article explores modern trends in the interior design of tea ceremony centers through the lens of symbolism and minimalism. The tea ceremony, as an important element of the cultural heritage of East Asia, requires an appropriate space design that enhances the spiritual and aesthetic experience of the ritual. The focus is on symbolic elements, such as natural materials and architectural forms, as well as minimalist techniques that express the philosophy of simplicity and harmony. The research methodology is based on a qualitative analysis of contemporary design solutions that integrate traditional Eastern elements with Western approaches to interior design. The article provides examples of the use of symbolism and minimalism in various countries and analyzes modern technological innovations, such as dynamic lighting and innovative materials, which are seamlessly integrated into the design while preserving the philosophical principles of the tea ceremony. The scientific novelty of the work lies in identifying the key aspects of the interaction between traditional and modern elements in interior design, which helps to preserve the cultural identity of the tea ceremony in the context of globalization.
