CITY YANGLUODONG OF CHINA — AN IMPORTANT BEGINNING OF THE GREAT TEA ROAD

The Great Tea Road developed from the 17th century to the early 20th century, starting from Mount Wei in China, passing through China, Mongolia, and Russia, and reaching St. Petersburg in Russia. This Great Tea Road is not only an economic channel, but also a cultural channel for cultural exchange between China and the West. Yangluodong Ancient Town in Chibi County of Hubei Province is the most important starting point of the Great Tea Road and ancient tea production site in Qingzhuan on the Great Tea Road. This city is a witness and creator of the history of Sino Russian trade.
