The work reflects the author's research activities related to the differentiation of objects that are necessary for studying in socio-cultural tourism facilities. In this case, the grounds for classifying objects of socio-cultural tourism are studied, as well as their significance for cultural and educational activities. The author examines various tourist sites that need to be included in the implementation of socio-cultural tourism projects. At the same time, the emphasis is on the integration of modern and historical components in the routes and the activation of tourists' opportunities to get acquainted with the heritage of the visited country. The publication highlights the importance of socio-cultural facilities for the territorial organization of tourism and the increase in tourist flows both inside and outside the country. Based on the research, the specifics of the various regions included in the routes of socio-cultural tourism and their importance for the development of It is also interesting to present the international experience in the implementation of Russian-Chinese socio-cultural projects and the tourist sites that are represented in them.
