The article presents the results of an empirical study of the relationship between the level of development of reflection of mental states and psychological well-being of college students. A sample of 245 Kazan college students revealed statistically significant positive correlations between reflection and all components of psychological well-being, with the strongest relationship revealed with personal growth. Dispersion analysis showed significant differences in psychological well-being between groups with different levels of reflection, as well as specific features of the development of reflexive abilities depending on the profile of professional training. Cluster analysis made it possible to identify three typological groups of students, which justifies the need for a differentiated approach to psychological support of the educational process in the system of secondary vocational education.
