COGNITIVE FOUNDATIONS OF THE SYSTEMIC PARADIGM: HISTORICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

The paper analyzes the problem of conceptual ambiguity that remains in the scientific community regarding the understanding of systems research and the «system project» itself. Particular attention is paid to the study of the intellectual origins of the «general systemic doctrine» (German: Allgemeine Systemlehre), developed by Ludwig von Bertalanffy.
