In the process of the research the author correlates the concepts of interdisciplinary, polydisciplinary, interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, supra-disciplinary, meta-disciplinary approaches. Meta-disciplinarity as a methodological basis for the analysis of the cultural industry considers the cultural industry as an integrative diversity of data on socio-economic and cultural phenomena. Identification of the conditions of interdisciplinary discourse based on flexible methodological tools allows us to form an objective view of modern concepts of the cultural industry as an integral area of research. The combination of a rigid classical fundamental methodological framework with practice-oriented methods based on an object orientation determines the choice of the optimal combination of research methods from a whole range of approaches. In conditions of invariance and multi-level cultural interaction between the cultural industry and the external socio-economic environment, the cultural industry has the opportunity to preserve basic cultural values and meanings or destroy them. This antagonistic functionality allows interpreting the cultural industry as a unique research object that reveals complex nonlinear processes of consumer society culture. Therefore, the importance of positive and negative heuristics of the Russian cultural industry as a unique metadisciplinary integral area is increasing. The author proposes to integrate the pyramidal structure of consciousness and the multidimensional model of metamodernity into a single integral metadisciplinary combination/model, connecting the vertices of possible individual structures of consciousness/development/communication in a single center, and taking into account the binary opposition of the entire consumer society. As a basis that unites all the modern diversity of aspects of studying the cultural industry into a holistic system, the author presents a flexible methodology that has the ability to take into account the metadisciplinarity of the cultural industry, segmentation of methods and principles, as well as the specifics of the sub-branches of the cultural industry.
