In this article, the author explores the role of archives, museums, and libraries in preserving knowledge about space exploration and the interaction between Russia and China in preserving and presenting knowledge and achievements in space exploration. The article examines how the preservation, realization and consumption of collective social memory provide valuable insight into the relationship between the understanding of Chinese and Russian identity, as well as the changing role and place of heritage in Chinese and Russian cultural policy. Modern strategies for the development of scientific and technical heritage are considered and proposals for its improvement are made.
