THE INFLUENCE OF CHRISTIANITY ON THE LAW

This article explores the influence of Christianity on the development and formation of legal principles in various societies throughout history. The article presents an analysis of the foundations of Christian ethics that have influenced the law. Special attention is paid to the concept of Christian law and its role in the formation of moral norms and legal principles. The author explores biblical sources since early Christianity and traces its influence on the laws and the process of law-making over the centuries, including judicial practice, property law, human rights. The author concludes that it is necessary to further study the influence of religious factors on law and the importance of taking into account this historical connection in the modern world.
