In this article, the team of authors considers the possibility of using joint activities with an adult as a means of developing communication skills in young children in the context of modernizing the modern education system, focused on finding optimal models for educating children with different levels of psychophysical development as part of early detection and early assistance to minors. with developmental disabilities. The authors analyzed the need for interaction between an adult and a child, contributing to the establishment of emotional contact, encouraging the latter to verbal contact, communication. That is why the study of the joint activities of young children and adults as a means of developing the child's communication skills is of particular relevance.
The paper presents the results of diagnosing the level of development of communication skills of 30 subjects of early age (from 2 to 3 years) on the basis of a consultative and diagnostic point for providing early assistance to children, during which ten subjects with a low level of development of communication skills were identified. For these children, a program for the development of communication skills in children of early childhood «Towards each other» was developed and implemented. The article also analyzes the results of the control stage of the experiment, taking into account the repeated diagnostics using the method of mathematical statistics, which made it possible to identify the effectiveness of the program being implemented.
