PSYCHOLOGICAL SUPPORT AND SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL ADAPTATION OF STUDENTS WITH VISUAL IMPAIRMENTS AGED 9-11 YEARS

The article reveals the content of the concept of “adaptation”. Based on theoretical analysis, a justification is given for the structure and content of children's adaptation during the transition to secondary education, taking into account the specifics of visual impairments. Description of educational activities in relation to the practice of teaching schoolchildren with special educational needs. The article discusses issues of socio-psychological adaptation and psychological support for this process by increasing motivation in organizing independent educational activities for children with visual impairments.
