The subject of analysis in supervision is the process of therapeutic interaction between a psychologist and a client, in which the supervisor evaluates the following components: the psychotherapist's ability to understand and manage the situation (personal phenomenology); the psychotherapist's ability to organize therapeutic contact (general professional skills); consulting skills, including the ability to conceptualize the client's situation. The resource capabilities of supervision consist in a qualitative meta-analysis of therapeutic relationships in order to identify key factors.
