The history of strategic cooperation between China and Africa

This article analyzes relations and the deepening of cooperation between China and African countries since the founding of the PRC. Relations between the PRC and African countries, starting with the first contacts under Mao Tse-tung, passed a rapid development path to a comprehensive strategic partnership by the beginning of the 21st century. China initially considered Africa as a region for ideological and political expansion, since the 80s of the 20th century has exclusively moved to deepening economic cooperation and at the beginning of the 21st century established strategic partnership with the countries of Africa with the corresponding political and economic mechanisms.
