This article examines the activities of the Vologda Community of sisters of mercy in the end of XIX – early XX centuries. Author traces the close relationship between Vologda the Local Office of the ROCK and the sisters of mercy Community in Vologda. The article considers various aspects of sisters ' activity. The work of the sisters of mercy Community in Vologda is analyzed on the basis of an extensive source base.
