Influence of affective factors on the development of students’ communicative competencies while learning foreign languages (analysis of foreign pedagogical literature)

The article contains the analysis of foreign pedagogical literature, devoted to affective factors, influencing the foreign language learning process. Special emphasis is given to such psychological problems as the low level of self-esteem and the high degree of anxiety among the learners. The correlation between these psychological components and their influence on academic achievements in learning foreign languages are considered in the article.
