Institute of management in the Balkaria in the XIX century

This article examines the poorly studied issue of the formation of the management system in Balkaria in the XIX century. The problems of the functioning of such governing bodies as the National Tere, the Prince of Tere and Maly Tere and their replacement in the early 40s of the XIX century in Balkaria by the system of bailiffs, and from the second half of the 19th century as a precinct system were considered.
