Activity as a necessary means of assessing the formation of basic professional skills

The article actualizes the problem of assessing the formation of basic professional skills of representatives of professions that carry out their professional activities in the face of increased danger, as well as extreme conditions. The problem of assessing this professional skills is considered by the author through the rationale for the activity criterion as an essential factor in determining the level of the formation of basic professional skills. The activity criterion is considered by the author through the definition of its main indicators, to which the author refers accuracy, speed (speed), sequence of algorithm execution, self-control. The problem of integrative assessment of basic professional skills is presented, reflecting the integrative nature of its components (need-motivational, cognitive, activity), which allows implementing the learning function of control and purposefully influencing any of the formed components of basic professional skills using a system of coefficients, stimulating the formation process in accordance with stages of training. In the article, the author also analyzes approaches to the definition of the concept of "level" with the aim of developing a criterial-level scale.
