The Russian as a foreign language image and the language policy problems in the Kola North

The article presents the results of a study aimed at identifying the image of the Russian language in the Kola North among foreign citizens living in the region, including the status of the Russian language and its characteristics, the conditions for learning the language, directions of language policy.
