Political correctness or euphemization of the political discourse

The article is devoted to the study of political euphemisms as one of the lexical means of influencing the audience. The similarity between political correctness and euphemisms is that neutral or positive connotation that they seek to convey in words. Euphemization is a universal linguistic phenomenon, which is usually determined by socio-historical and moral and ethical norms, national and linguistic traditions of a particular society.
