Methods of teaching physical culture and sport in school

This article describes the main approaches to physical education in school, which are part of the General methodology of teaching physical education in school. Also, the main stages of methods of teaching the subject «Physical culture», given their substantive characteristics and features of the formation of methods of the relevant periods. The modern state of teaching of physical culture and sports in schools is considered, the problems accompanying training and tasks of development of methodology of teaching are defined.
