The article is devoted to the work of citizen journalists in the context of coverage of emergency by modern media. The stages of work and the place of citizen journalists are considered. The draft of ethical standards of coverage of emergency by citizen journalists is proposed. Proposals and recommendations for Internet sites have been developed.
