The image of the «middle man» in the novel E. V. Grishkovets «Asphalt»

This article discusses the issue of artistic understanding of the image of «middle man» in the works of modern writer E. V. Grishkovets based on the novel «Asphalt». The study presents an analysis of the structure of images of a literary text, which is the most obvious object of interpretation of the work in the reception of the mass reader. The paper also reveals the peculiarities of displaying the Central image of the hero as a key figure that forms the integrity of the text around itself, which makes it possible to determine the author's way of building the character of the hero of our time in the context of all the creativity of the modern writer.
