Lefortovo in the context of the revolutionary events in 1917

The article discusses the events that took place in the Moscow district of Lefortovo during the October Revolution of 1917. The author focuses mainly on the hostilities that took place between the armed detachments of the revolutionary-minded Red Guards and soldiers who joined them against the cadets of the Alekseevsky Military School, the senior cadet classes of the Moscow Cadet Corps and the Suvorov Warsaw Cadet Corps. The article analyzes the prerequisites and conditions of armaments, provides an assessment and characterization, as well as provides information regarding the social and professional composition of the participants of the armed forces, and statistical data on their number.
