Cultural component in the study of creolized religious texts

In the article the cultural component on the material of creolized religious texts is considered. The authors touch upon the problem of the interaction of verbal and non-verbal components of the conflict-causing material, the ways of its interpretation with specific examples. The structural, stylistic and cultural features of the polycode text with the denial ideas of Christianity are revealed. The authors suggest the linguistic analysis of lexical units with the negative component in cases of insulting believer’s feelings, together with non-verbal cultural elements most fully reveal the pragmatic part of the text. Due to the implicitly and explicitly expressed word connotations and text images the spectrum of additional meanings is revealed.
