Parallel collateral subordination in scientific style of Russian language (on the material of the texts of mathematical works)

The article covers the usage of multicomponent complex sentences with parallel collateral subordination on the material of the texts of mathematical works. Many researchers interpreted this transitional kind of collateral subordination in different ways. The article deals with three cases of parallel collateral subordination: with clauses explaining the repeating correlative words in the main clause, sentences with similar clauses revealing the repeating content words in the main clause and sentences with “parallel” clauses pertaining to homogeneous elements of the main clause. Due to symmetric structure, these constructions facilitate appropriate comprehension of the difficult idea.
