Representation of traditional and actual meanings of orientational metaphors in British political discourse during 2012-2017

The present article researches connection between the metaphor and the way of people’s thinking. It studies orientational metaphors used in British political discourse during 2012-2017 by means of cognitive analysis and shows realization of their traditional and actual meanings in a real text.
