Political discourse: to the concept definition

In this paper, the author attempts to define political discourse for philological science as one of the most researched today in the framework of interdisciplinary approaches. The appeal to the unity of "language-politics" is being made. Modern approaches to understanding the object of research within the framework of domestic political linguistics are analyzed. The contribution of each direction is noted. In accordance with the logic of work, the main characteristics and structural components of the phenomenon under study are presented. Necessary clarifications and clarifications are given. In conclusion, the author defines political discourse as a contextually determined language component of political practice.
