Substantivization in scientific style

The scientific style has a number of common features, such as informativity, logic, accuracy, objectivity, clarity, etc. Substantivization as a method of compressive word-formation is actively used in scientific texts, which reflects the desire of the scientist to more clearly and briefly express his thoughts. Substantivization denote the phenomena most important from the point of view of a particular science: for jurisprudence these are the names of persons – of participants in criminal proceedings, for psychology – the names of abstract concepts, for linguistics – language units.
