This article aims to highlight the existing attempts to classify the stories of Fyodor Sologub on the example of the most striking works of his art. The paper also attempts to comprehend the reason for the complexity of the classification of the writer's stories through the prism of complex interactions of philosophical and artistic techniques and methods in his works.
