The Anglo-Zulus war of 1879 through the eyes of British soldiers (based on letters and newspapers)

In this article, the author examines the events of the Anglo-Zulus war of 1879 through the prism of the perception of soldiers of the Victorian army, who are direct participants in hostilities. On the basis of personal letters and newspaper articles, the personal experience of individual army units is analyzed, determining their moral and fighting spirit and their attitude to the events described. These letters also help to build a certain chronological sequence to study the main stages of the war.
